    first dragon attempt

This is my second attempt at doing a proper image, after many mistakes with the first I decided to do this as a practice.
First image on the panel there are a few others I’m going to put on it but for the moment this is where it’s staying for the time being

I made a lot of mess around the edges sadly, and a little mess over it, so I had to neaten up the edges after it was completed.
Still trying to control white paint with a finer line, too thick, thin, much pressure or too little, yet to figure it out, oddly doing a lot better with controlling dark colours.

But after simply asking questions I thought I should show what I was attempting.

White is tough what kinda paint are you using? How large is this? It's not a bad start you got going though. I like the wings
Be good or be good at it!

I always wanted nice stuff but couldn't afford it so I said hmm I'll make it my self along with knowing if that person can do it so can I.

I'm using AA paints. This is actually the side panel of a computer case and the image takes up the majority of one side.

Auto air some swear by it others despise it. I don't like it myself but those who do know it and use it, make incredible work. You might wanna do some experimenting or use the search function to get an idea to see how to get that white to flow how you want for what your doing. Believe me I use house of Kolor and still spent some time to get it to flow the way I wanted last night.

I'm no ab er with AA, heard the same as Strictly says, love/hate thing, that way with most supplies. But white is a bit touchy. I got no advice for ya but I like the design, get those edges a bit smoother, and it'll be slick. I love the colors

Zel what AA are you using, is it the old stuff or the new autoborne? I use the autoborne range and the new Wicked detail colours and they are fantastic. No matter what brand of paint you use your always gonna have the most problems with white. It's because of the pigments in the paint needed to aquire the opacity with it, that's why white is so different to other colours. The reduction rate on the bottles is only a guideline too, as far as white is concerned you need to play around with your mix to get the best performance through your brush, always aim for the consistency of milk or for white you may be better aiming for skimmed milk, a little thinner.

I'm using AA Graphic Colours. Thanks for the hint Hasey, after my first try with the reduction rate on the bottle causing me issues I ignored it. Having that fail worse I thought I had done it wrong and should have stuck to the rate. So thankyou

If you haven'y tried playing with your air pressure that factors in how paint will spray. I've found sometimes when you should lower it it doesn't work right so I go the other direction and it works. Trial and error until you find what works for you and the AB you are using.
